Sagrada Família private tour: the basilica towers on a sunny day
Interior of the Sagrada Família with stained glass windows and tree-like columns

About the basilica

Why the Sagrada Família is worth it

Gaudí worked on the basilica for over 40 years, and construction continues today. Inside, tree-like columns rise to the ceiling and the stained glass fills the nave with colour, warm on one side and cool on the other.

It is Barcelona’s most visited monument, so timed tickets often sell out weeks ahead in high season. Book your entry early, and we build the rest of the day around it.

Tickets

Planning your Sagrada Família private tour

Entry to the Sagrada Família is by timed ticket, and the best slots go first. Book your tickets before you book your Sagrada Família private tour, then tell us your entry time and we plan the rest of the day around it.

  • Basic ticket: entry to the basilica.
  • With audio guide or guided visit: recommended if you do not add a licensed guide to your tour.
  • With towers: a separate ticket with limited places. Choose it when you book.

Buy tickets only on the official Sagrada Família website. Morning and late-afternoon slots usually have the best light through the stained glass.

Sagrada Família tour FAQ

Are Sagrada Família tickets included?

No. Tickets are sold for timed entry slots. Book them as early as possible, and we plan the tour around your entry time. Our guide to Sagrada Família tickets covers prices, towers and opening hours.

Is there a dress code?

The Sagrada Família is a church, so shoulders should be covered and very short clothing avoided.

How long should we spend inside?

Most visitors spend 60 to 90 minutes inside, including the time to look at the façades.

Can we add the towers?

Tower access requires a specific ticket and is subject to availability. Choose it when you book your tickets.

Can we add a guide to the Sagrada Família private tour?

Yes. A licensed local guide can join you for the basilica visit and the other Gaudí sites. We quote it separately so you only pay for what you need.
