This policy explains how Calma Trips (“we”, “us”), uses your personal data when you visit calmatrips.com or contact us to book a service.

1. Contact

2. What data we collect

  • Contact details: your name and WhatsApp number.
  • Booking details: dates and times, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight number or cruise ship name, number of passengers and luggage, children’s ages for child seats.
  • Information you choose to share: for example mobility needs. Please only share health information if it is needed to plan your service.
  • Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security.

We do not take payments online and do not collect card details.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your enquiry and send you a quote, at your request.
  • To arrange and deliver your booking, including sharing the necessary details with your driver or guide.
  • To keep the website secure and working.

We do not use your data for marketing without your consent, and we never sell it.

4. Who we share your data with

  • Our local service providers in Barcelona (licensed transport companies, drivers and guides), only the details needed to deliver your service.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), the tool we use to communicate with you.
  • Technical providers: our website hosting provider, Cloudflare (domain services) and Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when our pages load their fonts.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Some providers, such as WhatsApp (Meta), may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own safeguards.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries that do not become a booking: up to 12 months.
  • Booking details: up to 24 months after your service, then deleted.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to stop or limit its use, or to send you a copy. Message us on WhatsApp to make a request. If you are in the European Union, you can also complain to a data protection authority, such as Spain’s Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es) or the authority in your country.
